Bodymind Journey was created as a way to share my passion for
transformation.
I can see now the seeds of this passion in my fascination with caterpillars, which I raised in my doll house when I was little. After putting them into leaf-filled jars so they could spin cocoons, I watched and waited, as the magic happened inside. One day, a butterfly would emerge and I'd release it to continue it's journey, sometimes gathering the other kids in the neighborhood to witness this miracle.
Many years later, I still love bearing witness to the unfolding of new growth and life in myself and others.
I spend a lot of my time these days on the phone with one-on-one sessions and teleclasses, and I'm very grateful for amazing technology that lets me connect with people all over the world.
Working in this way requires a different way of paying attention and has helped me develop a greater ability to listen and sense "how things are" for folks on the other end. Just like being face to face, working over the phone can be surprisingly intimate and equally as effective.

Personal Journey
During my working life I spent more than 20 years in service-related jobs, including 9
years as a Human Resources Manager and three as Associate Director
(and grant writer) for a small non-profit.
What I loved most about those jobs was learning about the people who worked there; what motivated them, what they valued and how we could deal with challenges together. I had a chance to do some training too, working with both small and large groups.
It was my own healing journey however, that brought me into my current work. As I transformed through panic attacks, addictive behaviors, depression, asthma, chronic health issues, relationship challenges and loss, I experienced that healing IS possible, and the inner peace that comes with that.
The other gift was lots of compassion and empathy for what we all go through as humans doing our best to survive and thrive.
Along the way, I have studied and experienced lots of different healing methods, awareness practices, body-centered work and am still learning every day.
I am grateful for everyone and everything that has contributed to my life and enabled me to now share myself and my work with you.
