Living in Possibility

Are you free to live a life that you really love?

The most direct path to creating a full and satisfying life is to connect with what's most important, deep in your heart, and allow that to guide your actions. In order to do that, we must clear inner obstacles, like beliefs, old patterns and other things that keep us stuck, and living in limitation. These inner obstacles keep us from knowing who we really are and what's truly possible for our lives.

Classes in this series provide support for the journey of self-discovery and for living a life that is in alignment with your inner wisdom and the deep desires of your heart.

New Teleclasses:  REAL Self-Love and Acceptance

We all want to feel loved, accepted and cherished for who we really are; we want to be listened to, respected and cared for.  We need a sense of support when we’re feeling low, comfort and safety when we’re afraid, and above all, understanding for what’s most important to us.

What if you could receive all this from the one person that will never leave you  - yourself! Is it really possible? Deep inside, there is place where love comes from, and it is the core of who you really are.  What blocks the experience of that love is all the conditioning, hurts and residue of misguided attempts to mold you into a perfectly civilized human.

There are many steps on the path towards REAL self-love and acceptance and many pitfalls along the way.  Inner critical voices, resistance and conflict can bring our forward progress to a halt leaving us stuck and discouraged. You don’t have to travel this path alone; I offer compassionate support and helpful methods that make everything so much easier.

REAL self-love and acceptance is a series of classes that can support you in reclaiming your “true love.”  The first is called “Getting Real.” We’ll experiment with different approaches using awareness exercises and TAT.

Class One: Getting Real  (6 hours, $155)*

The first class introduces basic concepts and takes a look at the dynamic of inner criticism, how it becomes invisible to us and what we can do about it.

  • How we got disconnected from our own LOVE and true selves
  • The way back – a roadmap
  • The power of noticing
  • The dynamics of the inner world and what we call “parts”
  • The inner judging process: what is judged and how to recognize it
  • Reactions and responses to judgment (inner and outer)
  • Developing a caring feeling presence for inner work

Pre-requisite:  a working knowledge of TAT. If you are brand new to TAT, taking a 3-hour “Introduction to TAT” will meet this requirement.

Class Two:  Inner Harmony (8 hours, $200)

Building on experience and learning from Class One, we’ll explore various approaches to working with inner judgement/criticism and “parts in conflict.”

  • Practice recognizing and responding to judgement and criticism
  • What’s underneath the “attacks?”
  • Continued development of a caring presence for inner work
  • How to spot when you are identified with a part
  • Working with stuck places and inner conflict
  • From parts to integrated wholeness

*Each class includes recordings of each class, online forum and materials

Class Three:  Working with clients (For TAT Professionals and Pros in Training) May 2010*

This class is still in the development phase, so the number of hours is yet to be determined, but likely will be about 8-10.

Pre requisites for this class:  Class One and Two above, plus Practicing Presence

Having the experience now of working with your own inner “parts” and the dynamics of inner criticism, you will have seen how very important this work is. Now we move on to working with clients, using these same principles and understanding.

Here are some of the things we’ll cover:

  • How to recognize the inner criticizing process in others and support them in working with it

  • How your own “inner parts” get involved when working with others

  • How to help your clients develop more presence so they can “be with” inner conflict

  • Continued development of the “caring feeling presence” as a way to be with others

  • Practice working via role play and actual sessions

* Deepening Presence:  Core Practices for Daily Living is highly recommended as a foundation
